Visit of Deputy Country Director -Action Against Hunger Pakistan (ACF)

Deputy Country Director – Action Against Hunger Pakistan (ACF), Mr. Zulfiqar Mithani along with the team visited various interventions in district Shikarpur, Larkana, and Kamber Shahdadkot under the EU-funded Program for Improved Nutrition in Sindh (PINS).Mr. Zulfiqar witnessed PINS-II and PINS-III interventions and conducted dialogues with community leaders. regarding the impacts of the projects on their lives and livelihoods. He also visited household-level Kitchen Gardening. Agriculture entrepreneurs, Goat beneficiaries, Farmer Field Schools, CHWs, and the construction of Hand Washing stations.DCD-ACF also witnessed PCR test sample collection of suspected persons and also attended community awareness sessions where CRPs were conducting awareness sessions with rural women, on the novel coronavirus and emphasizing the importance of hygiene and safe practices for their health.
